Quiet Days and Retreats for 2008
April 5th - Spring Quiet Day at the Eastern Good Companion's Club, St Clement led by Rev. Jane Ilton
We are very pleased that Jane has agreed to lead this quiet day for us. The Eastern Good Companion's Club is a new venue for us. It is very spacious and has some parking attached to it: additional parking is available in the cqr park on the coast road. Weather permitting, of course, the beach is just a short walk away.
The cost of the day including lunch is £12.50
July 5th - Summer Quiet Day led by the Team
The Team will be leading this quiet day.
The venue will be at the premises of the Abundant Life Church (ALC), Rue de Fremont
Wolf's Caves, St. John.

September 30th to October 2nd - Autumn Residential Retreat at Highlands Hotel led by Sister Mairead Quigley
Following a very successful retreat held at Les Côtils in Guernsey last year we are delighted that Sister Mairead Quigley has agreed to lead our Residential Retreat this year.
Sister Mairead is a Religious of the Society of the Sacred Heart, which is an international Roman Catholic congregation. She has an MA in Theology and has trained in Spiritual Direction and Retreats in Llysfasi in Wales and at the Centre for Religious Development in Boston, Massachusetts. She is currently Chaplain and Tutor at Sarum College, Salisbury and also Chaplain to those training for ministry there. Sister Mairead also looks after the ecumenical retreat team and runs a support group. She is very experienced in running retreats and giving spiritual direction. The title of this retreat is 'Minding the Gap'
The retreat will be held at the Highlands Hotel, Corbiere and will start on the Tuesday after the evening meal, and finish on the Thursday afternoon at about 4pm.
The cost of the retreat (full board) will be £97.50 per person. .
December 6th - Advent Quiet Day led by Rev. Chris White.

We are delighted that Chris has agreed to lead this quiet day. Before becoming a Methodist Minister Chris trained in fine art and continues to have an on-going interest in the world of modern art. His theme for the day is 'Art and Soul' - an exploration of how faith is expressed through art.
There are three sessions:-
Session 1. 'Looking at Pictures and Artists'
Session 2. Simple exercises in Art. (no experience required)
Session 3. Prayer and Reflection.
